BotDetect CAPTCHA: Payment Methods

NOTE FOR GENERIC RESELLERS:

A Generic Reseller looking to procure a new License Subscription for a Licensee, or to renew an expired or otherwise canceled one, must read the Reselling Terms first -- and then request a GR-Quote. Reading this page any further is futile -- because when the Vendor is selling to Generic Resellers -- it accepts credit cards only.

Intro:

In order to find the definitions of the capitalized terms mentioned further down this page, as well as to understand the pros and cons of various payment methods and purchasing options, the Licensee must read carefully the legalese in the docs listed below -- before making a purchase.

..............................................................

Credit Cards:

Both the SPT and APT License Subscriptions can be paid by credit cards.

Their breakdown by the use frequency, supported geographies and currencies, as well as by their Payment Auto-renewal support ability, is listed in the tables below:

The Payment Processor's tables listing the payment methods it accepts can be found here and here. The Vendor does not replicate their content on this page because too few Licensees ever inquired about any of them -- aside from Paypal and Purchase Order -- which use is explained in the Special Cases section immediately below.

..............................................................

Special Cases:

There are two special-case options available to those purchasing APT License Subscriptions:

PayPal:

Due to the one particular peculiar interaction between the way PayPal recurring payments work, and the way the License Subscriptions are implemented by the Payment Processor, the Vendor does not accept PayPal for recurring payments at this moment -- but is working on the fix.

However, the Vendor does accept PayPal as a payment method for non-recurring payments.

One very common use case is the situation in which the First Billing Period Price of a particular License Subscription is higher than a limit set on a Licensee's credit card. In all such cases the Vendor can split the payments into the following parts:

  • the non-recurring one -- which is to be paid by PayPal
  • the recurring ones -- which are to be paid by a credit card.

Purchase Orders:

The Vendor does not use the Payment Processor's processing of Purchase Orders. Its awkward procedure and opaque process were causing a huge loss of valuable time and a lot of frustration to both Licensees and the Vendor -- while its limited geographical coverage does not help either.

Accordingly, a Licensee whose internal rules allow Purchase Orders only, cannot buy its License Subscription directly from the Vendor -- and will have to buy it from a Generic Reseller instead.

Such a Licensee should note that that small Generic Reseller next door, with whom the Licensee often works with, and within which it has a very particular neck to squeeze as often as needed (the 'Favorite Reseller'), will likely deliver a better service than any of those huge global Generic Resellers -- regardless of if that Favorite Reseller have ever worked with the Vendor before.

If such a Licensee wish to sort out any potential licensing issues in advance -- it should request the LI-Quote first -- and involve its chosen Generic Reseller only after the licensing is ironed out.

If there is no potential licensing issues, or after they are already ironed out, the chosen Generic Reseller should read the Reselling Terms first -- and then request a GR-Quote.

..............................................................

Not Accepted:

No License Subscription can be paid by any of the following payment methods:

  • Cash & Cash On Delivery (COD)
  • Check -- regardless of the bank
  • Bitcoin, nor any other crypto currency.
